Great Deals Scentsy deals

Whoo Hoo...... It is time for the Semi-Annual Scentsy sale. Begining Feb 1st almost everything in the catalog is 10% off.  Can't beat that. It is time to stock up on you favorites scents for sure. That said it also means we are transitioning to a new catalog and bring out NEW and old favorite Spring & Summer scents... Sadly, that means that some of the current selection has to go. I will have a list of the discontinued scents soon! Here is a preview of the February Warmer of the mont. It's Super Cute and the scent is
A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!! It is my favorite scent in the entire catolog!

Vanilla Suede
Classic, comforting vanilla combined with rich amber and hints of sandalwood and spice – a cozy and subtly masculine fragrance.

Grocery Challenge week one

I started out the day excited to see if I was up to the challenge! I honestly didn't think it was possible until I started going through the store circulars. The day started well but I wasn't sure how the trip would go since I had my three littlest ones with me. It was a challenge with the three kids but we survived......

Well week one shopping and meal planning is done. Did I do it? Almost! I spent $78.03, so I was over budget by $18.00 that said all of the meat that I bought was in an Extreme Value pack so I am pretty sure that I have enough meat for two full weeks of meals. I also just started clipping coupons so I didn't have very many to use. I am pretty surprised I was able to accomplish it!!!

Here is my meal plan for the week:

Day one: Garlic Pork Chops with Homemade Mashed potatoes and steamed Broccoli
Day two: Beef Roast with Potatoes and Butternut Squash
Day three: Beef tacos with rice and beans
Day four: Cowboy Pie with Broccoli
Day five: Baked Ziti with homemade sauce and Spaghetti squash
Day six: Slow cooker Chicken fajitas
Day seven: Spaghetti squash and Chicken bake

Breakfast:
Oatmeal, eggs & toast, French toast, Eggs burritos, Pancakes and cereal

Lunch:
Sandwiches (turkey, PB&J, grilled cheese) fruit, baby carrots, mac & cheese a couple of days (this menu is much more relaxed)

Here is the breakdown of what I got for my $$:
5lbs of Clementines
1 Spaghetti Squash
1.3 lbs Yellow Onion
1.25lbs Fresh Broccoli Crowns
10lbs of baking potatoes
1lbs bag of baby carrots

The Grocery Challenge

Ok. I have decide to give coupons another try. My goal: Feed 5 hungry boys (and hopefuly myself) on a buget of $60 per week. This should be interesting considering that I currently spend about $125 a week (easily). Tomorrow is my first shopping day! aggggghhhhhh. I have my Coupon binder ready and set to go... (I will post pics soon) it is pretty darn cool. I have scoured the circulars and I think I have a plan....
So anyone want to take the challenge with me?
So in order to keep myself on track, I will be posting menu plans and grocery receipts.
And we are off!!!!!
